Software License Agreement for Cross-Platform POS & Retail ERP Operations
Gov Technologies grants you a commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and execute the GOV Inventory & Billing client application across authorized POS hardware terminals (Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS). Community Edition licenses are granted free of royalty for single-counter standalone deployments.
Each terminal instance is paired with an organization tenant using a signed cryptographic Ed25519 token. Commercial tiers permit an offline grace window of up to fourteen (14) days. Terminals must reconnect to the licensing server before grace expiration to refresh active lease tokens.
The platform provides automated calculations for Goods & Services Tax (GST Rule 46), HSN/SAC lookups, and Tally-compatible ledgers. However, merchants remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of assigned tax slabs, e-Way bill registrations, and statutory GSTR returns submitted to tax authorities.
Gov Technologies guarantees 99.99% cloud synchronization API availability. In the event of third-party cloud infrastructure degradation or localized internet outages, local offline counters are engineered to continue billing without disruption or data loss.
